# Intro & TL;DR

**Nomu is the spend-to-earn marketplace on Solana where you preorder products and earn when they sell.**

We're tackling two big issues:

1. **E-commerce treats you like an ATM:**\
   Your cash goes out, your data is farmed to sell you more. But your buys and word-of-mouth make products win, so the value you create should come back to you.
2. **Consumer crypto ≠ token casinos:**\
   Enough launchpads. It's time for Web3 capital to build the real world. Fund real products, give out liquid rewards, and let brands and buyers grow together.

Nomu flips the e-commerce script — making sure the value you create as a consumer flows back to you.
