What is realStaking?
realStaking is Nomu’s sustainable staking mechanism where rewards are powered by trading activity rather than treasury emissions.
When you stake $NOMU, you receive $sNOMU — a one-to-one staked version of your token that continuously accrues a share of $NOMU’s trading fees.
Starting on November 12th, 2025, 10% of all $NOMU trading fees are allocated to $sNOMU holders. As trading volume increases, so does the accumulated yield reflected in the price of $sNOMU.
You don’t need to claim or compound manually — value accrues directly into the $sNOMU token itself.
How It Works
Stake your $NOMU → receive $sNOMU (1:1).
Hold $sNOMU in your wallet — it represents your share of staking rewards.
Earn yield as $sNOMU$ appreciates from trading fees.
Unstake anytime to redeem your underlying $NOMU$ plus accrued yield.
Formula
This means $sNOMU compounds both token price growth and fee yield automatically. As yield accumulates and time passes, its performance diverges further from unstaked $NOMU creating a compounding effect that rewards long-term believers.
